How the estimate works
- Your team is split into groups of up to 15 people, the usual size for a hands-on session.
- Each full-day workshop is priced per group: about USD 800 with an independent trainer, USD 2,750 at a typical firm and USD 6,500 at a premium firm. A leadership half-day adds USD 500, 1,500 or 4,500.
- Licences use list prices per user per month on annual billing: ChatGPT Business USD 20, Claude Team USD 20, Microsoft 365 Copilot Business USD 21, Microsoft 365 Copilot USD 30.
- E-learning seats use Coursera for Teams (USD 259) or LinkedIn Learning for Teams (USD 379.88) per year.

How much does AI training cost for a team of 50?
With a leadership half-day, one full-day workshop for each group of 15 and Microsoft 365 Copilot Business licences, a 50-person team costs about USD 16,300 in the first year with an independent trainer, and about USD 25,100 with a typical training firm. Licences (USD 12,600) are the largest line.
Why does the calculator split people into groups of 15?
Hands-on AI workshops work best when the trainer can see every participant’s screen and answer questions. Most published team-workshop prices cover up to about 15 people per session, so larger teams need more sessions.
Are licences included in the training price?
No. Tool licences such as ChatGPT Business, Claude Team or Microsoft 365 Copilot are a separate, recurring budget line. The calculator adds 12 months of the licence you choose.
